To buy at a store near you, please use our store locator. In order to find out if a store carries a specific flavor, you must call the store directly. If you know of any small stores that carry Righteously Raw that are not listed, please let us know by emailing us at email@example.com.
You can purchase product direct from our web store or in retailers such as Whole Foods, Natural Grocers/Vitamin Cottage, Hy-Vee and many more.
Are your products sold internationally?
Our products are only available in the United States and in select locations in Canada right now, and we do offer shipping online to Canada, but we are happy to ship anywhere in the world, however the cost of freight would be the customer’s responsibility. Are your products Organic and Non-GMO?
Yes, every product we offer is certified Organic and Non-GMO by the California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF) and the certification is clearly displayed on our packaging. Every Organic ingredient is inherently Non-GMO by nature.
Are your products Gluten Free?
Yes, every product we offer Is both made and packaged in a dedicated gluten free facility certified by the Celiac Sprue Association (CSA) and the certification is clearly displayed on our packaging.
Are your products Kosher?
Yes, every product we offer is certified kosher by Earth Kosher and the certification is clearly displayed on our packaging.
Are your products Dairy-Free? Are they Vegan?
Yes, our facility is a Vegan facility and we do not use any dairy in our products. Our products are all Vegan Verified by Earth Kosher and the certification Is clearly displayed on our packaging.
Are your products Raw? Why are you Raw?
Yes, all of our products are raw and all of our ingredients and tempering is done under 118 degrees.
In our opinion, we believe that people should be able to eat as close to nature as possible with whole foods that are as minimally processed as humanly possible. There is evidence that nutrients are sometimes destroyed when you heat foods over 118 degrees, and as such we temper our chocolate under this threshold to preserve as many nutrients as possible while still tasting great.
What is a "Superfood"?
A superfood is a food rich in phytochemicals, which are biologically active compounds that are produced by the plant in order to help protect it from disease, oxidation, and other damaging reactions. These chemicals fall under various categories, including antioxidants, enzymes, amino acids, clean proteins, vitamins, and minerals.
Studies indicate that while phytochemicals are non-essential nutrients, meaning that they are not required to sustain life, they can help protect the human body from disease, just like they protect the plants that produce them.

How much cacao is in the Maca Bar?
As a handmade product, each bar varies slightly. There is approximately 26g or 39% of the 66g bar.

As a handmade product, each bar varies slightly. There is approximately 23g or 34% of the 66g bar.
What allergens do you avoid?
We avoid all the ingredients that the FDA deems top allergens: milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soybeans. These are not in our product line, equipment or facility. The ONLY exception is our product line and facility does have coconut.
Why do you use agave?
Health food manufacturers are scrutinized at every turn, and with good reason. Consumers make their choices based upon the trust they have in a product or brand. Here at Earth Source Organics, we take that trust very seriously. There has been some recent controversy surrounding the use of agave as a natural and healthier-alternative sweetener. There are a variety of natural sweeteners – agave, honey, coconut and palm sugar, maple syrup or brown rice syrup – and each have their own, unique characteristics. Based on careful consideration of these characteristics, we are confident in our usage of raw agave as a sweetener for our products.
WHY WE USE RAW AGAVE
Raw agave nectar has a luxurious, velvety flavor that perfectly complements the dark complexities of our Righteously Raw Chocolate product line. Raw agave is also naturally sweeter than other sugars such as raw honey, allowing for a more limited quantity to be used. This lowers sugar calories without compromising that delicately balanced touch of sweet. Raw agave is a low glycemic alternative sweetener whereas honey, brown rice and maple syrup are not. Also unlike honey, raw agave is vegan and adheres to our promise to deliver 100% certified organic, gluten-free, non-GMO, and kosher products to our customers.
COMMON MISCONCEPTIONS ABOUT AGAVE
Various articles and studies have emerged claiming that agave is little better than high fructose corn syrup, given that manufacturers still use chemicals and enzymes to produce the sweetener that we see on shelves and that the nectar can contain equally high percentages of fructose. Many of these claims are either untrue or misleading, and sweeping statements that seek to encompass all agave producers can perpetuate the spread of misinformation and cause harm to honest, hard-working farmers and companies.
OUR TRUSTED SOURCE
No pesticides, chemicals, or enzymes are added or used at any point in the growing, harvesting, or production process of our agave products and only heat is used to convert the plant juices into simple sugar. The nectar is never heated above 118 degrees Fahrenheit, which preserves its raw status as well as its naturally occurring enzymes, vitamins, and minerals. Our source only uses the premium nectar from the Weber Blue Agave plant, from a source that sustainably and responsibly farms their supply in Jalisco, Mexico. Their certified organic and non-GMO raw product has also been independently tested and received a 17 rating on the Glycemic Index. We pride ourselves in using only the best of raw ingredients, and our trusted source for agave is no exception.

WHY DO YOU USE ORGANIC RAW AGAVE INSTEAD OF OTHER SWEETENERS?
Organic Raw Agave has several key benefits that align the organic sweetener as one of the major players in this global movement away from highly processed sugars and chemically produced artificial sweeteners. Agave Premium Nectar is 40 – 50% sweeter than sugar, so less is needed to achieve the desired sweetness, resulting in 33 – 50% reduction in sugar calories.
Agave contains long-chain prebiotic inulin. Recent studies on Agave inulin suggest significant health benefits, including the prevention of bone loss, controlled insulin production, weight loss, and maintaining a healthy digestive system. Agave also naturally contains Calcium, Iron and other trace minerals.
HOW IS THE AGAVE GROWN?
Agave is grown organically, without the use of pesticides, GMOs, hormones or fertilizers. Our agave growers use natural techniques to keep the agave fields free of pesticides or harmful chemicals during the growth, harvesting and production.
IS THE AGAVE SUSTAINABLY FARMED?
Yes, as with all of our ingredients, our Agave is sustainably farmed. Social and economic responsibility is at the core of our brand. We work with agave growers who have a tradition for sustainable farming practices and generations of family history connected to the land. Young agave saplings are expertly harvested from mature agave and replanted in rested fields. Trimmings from each harvest are used as a natural soil conditioner. Fiber removed from milling is re-purposed for other goods. Nature’s Agave supports the local farming communities and strives to create fair pricing for hard-working agave growers and their families.
WHAT DIFFERENTIATES THE AGAVE YOU USE FROM OTHER AGAVE SOURCES?
Lower Glycemic Index (GI) than other Agave sources available. Our Agave source are the lowest rated on the Glycemic Index (rated 17). Other agave brands on the market rate from 28 – 35 on the GI. Low Glycemic foods do not spike insulin levels, and are considered Type-2 Diabetic friendly.
Which products do not contain agave?
The following products do not contain agave: Maca bite size, Rose bite size, Rawcholatl
Which products do not contain salt?
Rose Bar and Bite, Pure Dark Bar and Bite, Coconut Macaroon, Brownie Mouthful, Divine Mint Bite, Synergy Spice Bite, and Rawcholatl products are all salt-free.
Why are your bars so expensive?
Our bars contain only the highest quality ingredients from all over the world. We also are a fully certified organic, raw, gluten free, kosher, vegan chocolate line. The ingredient cost is the number one reason why our bars cost what they do.
Online Ordering and Order Fulfillment:
Can I purchase directly from the website? Is there a minimum order?
We offer direct purchase from our website. There is no minimum order amount but we do offer free shipping for retail orders over $35.00.
Where can I get a promotional code?
We are working on offering more promotions which will be posted on our website, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest pages as well as sent to our newsletter subscribers!
How do you ship your product?
We ship our products via both USPS and UPS depending on the location. During the warmer months, we use insulated boxes and ship with cold packs to ensure safe (and unmelted!) delivery.
How long will it take for me to get my product?
Delivery time varies based off the time of year and your location. All orders ship from Vista, CA.
In the warm summer months, orders are shipped out on Mondays/Tuesdays to avoid them traveling over the weekend as product tends to melt when sitting in hot warehouses. Due to transit time the longest an order would take to arrive would be about 10-14 days. We strive to ship next business day with arrival within several business days. You will be provided tracking information for your order as long as you enter a valid email address.
What security do you have in place? Will you share my information with other companies?
All orders placed online using our shopping cart are safely and securely transmitted using a secure (SSL) connection and 128-bit encryption, a mechanism that prevents eavesdropping and tampering with any transmitted data. We will never rent, sell or share your information that you provide to us with other companies.
My order is damaged/melted or I didn’t receive what I ordered. What do I do?
It is the customers responsibility to inspect their order upon receipt. If you receive an order that has been damaged or has melted, or if you receive the wrong item or quantity of items, please must contact us within 5 business days to obtain a return merchandise authorization number (RMA#). Call us at 760-734-1867 or use our contact us page and we will make it right.
Oops, I ordered the wrong item! What do I do?
If you ordered the wrong item, please let us know as soon as possible. We may be able to replace it with the correct item before your order ships out. However, we do not guarantee full credit if you have ordered the wrong item. If you have ordered the wrong item it is your responsibility to pay for the cost of shipping the item back to us.
Please email us before returning any products to obtain a return merchandise authorization number (RMA#) and instructions for returning the goods. No return will be accepted without prior authorization. Please keep all packaging materials and shipping documents to ensure proper credit.
