Cold packing is used during the warm summer months to ensure our chocolate arrives looking and tasting as great as it did when it left our facility.

All Orders are processed for shipping Monday through Friday 8:00 – 4:00 PM Pacific Standard Time. We make every effort to process and ship orders within 24 hours. Some orders may take longer if awaiting shipment on a particular item or if it is during the hot summer months. To ensure the quality of our chocolate, we do not ship over the weekends in the summer months. For example, if you place an order on Wednesday and its 4 day shipping via UPS your order will ship out the following Monday. Due to these circumstances please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery.

You will NOT receive an email if your item(s) are out of stock unless your order is going to take longer than the time frame listed above. If your order doesn’t arrive within 10 business days, and you’d like to check the status of your order, you can use the link in your order confirmation to check its status or you can email us and we will be happy to check its status for you. If it’s important that your order arrive by a specific date we encourage you to send us an email BEFORE you place your order. This allows us to let you know in advance if the items are in stock, or how long it will be before our next production run for the specific product is expected to be completed.

Back Orders – Once in a while an item will be out of stock in our warehouse and an additional production run will be required to fulfill your order. Due to the often extreme and lengthy warm weather conditions in San Diego, we cannot ship out half orders because the costs for cold packaging is too high and adds to your shipping weight costs. We will hold your order for a day or two until we can fulfill the entire order and then ship it. We appreciate your patience & understanding.

After processing and packaging, orders in the US are shipped through UPS which typically takes 2 to 7 business days to deliver. Again, please allow a total of 7-10 working days for processing, packaging and delivery for orders in the US.

For customers in Canada, please allow 1 to 2 weeks for processing, packaging and delivery. Once your order has been shipped, delivery can take up to 6 weeks or more in some cases. Products are shipped F.O.B. Vista, California

Orders can be placed online using our Secure Shopping Cart. Our online shopping cart safely and securely transmits your personal information using a secure (SSL) connection and 128-bit encryption, a mechanism that prevents eavesdropping and tampering with any transmitted data. We never rent, sell or share your information with other companies.

Damaged/Incomplete Orders

Inspect your order: It is the customers sole responsibility to inspect their order upon receipt. If you receive an order that has been damaged or if you receive the wrong item, you must contact us within 5 business days to obtain a return merchandise authorization number (RMA#).

To return a damaged or incorrect order, please email us immediately upon receipt to obtain a return merchandise authorization number (RMA#) and instructions for returning the damaged or incorrect order.


If you ordered the wrong item, please let us know as soon as possible. We may be able to replace it with the correct item. However, we do not guarantee full credit if you have ordered the wrong item. If you have ordered the wrong item it is your responsibility to pay for the cost of shipping the item back to us.

Please email us before returning any products to obtain a return merchandise authorization number (RMA#) and instructions for returning the goods. No return will be accepted without prior authorization. Please keep all packaging materials and shipping documents to insure proper credit.
